Joel Beckett

We were so excited to welcome Joel to TYD for the first time this year. He led a fantastic workshop about the process of acting in front of the  camera and recording  voice overs everything from documentaries to TV adverts.    

Joel is a well-known actor from the small screen, best known for playing the role of Lee, Dawn’s fiancée in the iconic, multi-award winning comedy classic, The Office and also for the role of Jake Moon in EastEnders. 

Joel has been working as a voice over artist since 2006, and has worked on countless projects for TV and radio commercials, documentaries and film. 

Over the years he has worked with a huge number of advertising agencies and production companies and we were so lucky he brought this vast knowledge to us at TYD. 

We look forward to him coming back soon as there is so much more to explore with him.
