START & END OF THE DAY

We meet in the Orangery which is at the far end of the building before being allocated working spaces. On arrival at 9.00am please head down towards the blue roof of the theatre and you will be welcomed into the building there. Participants will be released at 4.00pm. Please either wait in the car park or for younger participants meet near the fountain area. Please note our workshops take place in the grounds of a working theatre. Please do NOT bring dogs in to the grounds due to our wildlife amongst other factors and please be respectful of all staff working at the theatre during drop-off and pick-up.

As my child is over the age of 12, I am happy to allow them to enter the garden and hall unaccompanied. I will drop them off and pick them up in the car park.

You are welcome to accompany your child onto the grounds but we need to ensure you are happy and agree to drop them off if you would prefer.

Car parking stickers

Theatre audiences may well arrive on site before the end of our workshop day. Due to this, we issue stickers for your car window so you can access a more convenient parking area to pick up your child. Please can you let us know how many stickers you require for the various vehicles that may bring your child to Tolethorpe and we will distribute them on the first day.

PHOTOGRAPHY

The use of photographs in newspapers is already subject to strict guidelines and comes under the Press Complaints Commission’s Code of Practice. We do not allow unsupervised access to children or one-to-one photograph sessions. However, in some instances a child’s name may be passed to a journalist. Parental permission is required in order for your child’s photograph to be used within Tolethorpe Youth Drama’s and or Stamford Shakespeare Company’s photographic library, printed publications/publicity, marketing, websites and official social media sites and press releases.

ABSENCES

We appreciate notification if your child is not able to attend. This helps us plan the days appropriately.
